Bio

Jasmin Bade is a country Singer/Songwriter from Melbourne, Australia. After graduating from The Conservatorium of Music at The University of Tasmania in 2017 with an APRA Scholarship, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue her music career.

Working with Taylor Swift’s former manager, Rick Barker since the age of 17, Jasmin has been writing with top writers, including ARIA award nominees Michael Spiby and Charles Jenkins in Australia. She has performed with member of Midnight Oil Jack Howard, and written and recorded with members of Harry Styles’ support act.

In less than one year spent in Nashville, she has worked with Jade Gibson (Number One iTunes Chart single The Great Unknown), Ava Paige (International Songwriter Award Finalist), and recorded her single with Steven Martinez (worked with Lionel Richie, Lucinda Williams, Pentatonix). She has been listed as a Nashville Songwriters Association International Ones To Watch for her recent single that has been played on radio in over 50 countries. Her single, I’m Fine,  has received tremendous success in both Australia and the United States, and was added to the spotify curated playlist New Music Nashville.

With a combination of elements, pulling from the classic country she listened to growing up as well as the pop hits heard on today's charts, Jasmin’s writing focuses on love, relationships with others, and relationships with ourselves; most recently bringing to light the topic of mental health in her first single.

About me, from me

Hey! I'm Jasmin. My favourite thing in the world is sharing my music with people. I've been singing and playing guitar for as long as I can remember. From when I first heard a Kasey Chambers album when I was six, music has always been so important to me and I feel that songwriting can allow you to connect with so many different people, in so many different ways and in so many different places around the world.

The reason I made this website is so I can share my music with all of you and hear what you have to say about music in this confusing yet wonderful day and age.

So for a bit about me... My favourite animal is definitely the elephant; I love how they can dance with their noses. I also love op-shops, because everything in them has a story behind it; which for some reason, really excites me. I also love hearing other people’s stories, experiences and dreams as well as telling my own stories about relationships and the people I've been able to meet and things I've been able to do.

One of my favourite things in this world is meeting new people. I love learning about as many things as I can and knowing people like the back of my hand. I really want to get to know all of you and for you to get to know me. Hopefully my music will help you do that.

Someday I hope that people all around the world can connect with my music and the stories that I tell. Whether it's the fast paced and infatuated feeling you get when you fall head over heels for someone, the frustrated and angry spell that comes over you when you lose someone you shouldn't have lost, or really anything in between, I just hope it can make you feel like you have connected with me and we share something in common.

Right here on my website I’m going to be sharing with you some songs that I’ve written, as well as my own interpretations of some of my favourite songs written by people that inspire me. So if you have any questions to ask about me, my music, or anything else for that matter... then don’t hesitate to contact me.

I've been fortunate enough to experience the wonders in Nashville, Tennessee where I had the most amazing experiences like playing at the Bluebird Cafe and seeing where Dolly Parton recorded some of her greatest hits. There's a heap of stuff about it in the Jasmin Now section of the site. I'll be sure to head back there soon so stay on the look out.

Honestly, I’m so excited for what lies ahead in my future and yours too, and thank you so much for reading, listening and supporting me. None of this would be possible without you.
Whether it's in Nashville, Melbourne or a cafe somewhere, I hope that I'll see you soon.
